About the Author

Margot WallaceMargot Wallace is Professor of Marketing Communication at Columbia College Chicago where she teaches a course in branding. A former creative director at a major global advertising agency, she has created branded campaigns for clients ranging from consumer products to financial institutions, as well as not-for-profit organizations.

A former board member of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, as well as a museum scholar, Professor Wallace has studied museums from every aspect, and her original research of visitor and non-visitor attitudes continues.  She speaks to groups worldwide on museum branding and consults with individual museums.
